Climate Justice Cornhole

This was a collaboration with Naadiya Hutchinson, Valeska Populoh, Michael Lamason, Lauren Barbour, and the Baltimore Peoples Climate Movement as a part of the Festival for Change: Climate, Jobs & Justice in Baltimore on September 8, 2018. Taking a climate spin on a classic game, the cornhole boards visually celebrate climate justice and create an opportunity for players to learn more about different components of climate justice.

The beanbags correspond with cards that define various building blocks of climate justice, including transit equity, just transition, racial equity, and energy democracy. Players learn these terms as they play the game.  Climate Justice Cornhole has been used at various BPCM community events since the festival.
