About

"The role of the artist is to make the revolution irresistible." -Toni Cade Bambara

Taylor Smith-Hams is a Baltimore-based artist and advocate. Her work is motivated by the threats that environmental pollution and climate change pose to human wellbeing and by grassroots efforts to build a more just and sustainable future. She is particularly interested in visually exposing the human rights violations built into capitalist food, water, and energy systems and in celebrating the resilient beauty of Charm City.
