Brave Enough to Imagine

In an interview on the Mothers of Invention podcast, youth climate activist Brianna Fruean pledged to “be brave enough to imagine." This series seeks to meet Fruean's call. From food sovereignty to energy justice, these pieces are inspired by local Baltimore movements for climate and racial justice that are bravely imaginative. To learn more about the grassroots work these paintings are inspired by, visit these organizations' websites: Black Yield Institute, Communities United, Organizing Black, Baltimore Transit Equity Coalition, South Baltimore Community Land Trust.
