Contested Landscapes

These pieces are reflections on controversial land uses in California, Vietnam, Morocco, and Bolivia visited in 2014. Subjects (in order): Drake's Bay Oyster Farm in Inverness, California; Hoa Binh Hydroelectric Dam on the Black (Da) River in Vietnam; Mohammedia Thermal Power Plant in Casablanca, Morocco; and a community water system in Sivingani, Bolivia.
