Northern Lights

I went to Iceland a few weeks after my dad died in 2024. We saw the Northern Lights almost every night, and I took great comfort in the many mythologies around this incredible phenomenon, particularly the Inuit belief that the lights are the souls of the dead dancing or playing games in the sky. I painted these with the idea of my sweet dad dancing or playing games in the sky in mind.
